Poem 8.2. 2026:
REMAIN FAITHFUL.
To the One who pushed back the ocean, to let dry ground appear.
To that same One who said, He would bottle our every tear.
With love and adoration, we bow before His feet,
Waiting in anticipation for that day when we finally meet.
What a glorious day that will be, when that final trumpet will blast,
And there will be a gathering of those who have served You to the last.
We will be caught up to the heavens to meet You face to face,
And hear Your gentle voice say to us,
“Well done you have finished the race.”
There will come a day it will finally appear, and time will be no more,
We will see our blessed Saviour, usher us behind that door,
Where we will live for eternity, and worship at His feet,
Saying, Holy Holy Holy, with many others that we shall meet.
Until that day appears when our time on earth is done,
And we receive the crown of life that we have finely won.
We keep our eyes fixed faithfully, on the One who gave His all,
To keep us strong and steadfast, so that we could hear His call.
So come let’s give Him the honour, that is so rightfully His due,
To the One who gave His life out of love, for both me and for you.
There is so much that we owe Him, so much we have to give,
To the One who gave His precious Son, so that each one of us could live.
So live for Him and obey Him, each moment of every day.
Let Him have dominion over you in every single way.
He is the alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.
We are called each and every one of us, the faith to defend.
