A MIRACLE WORKING GOD by Delphine

PERSONAL TESTIMONY

I clearly remember the time when my son had gotten into trouble due to a debt. The bank had been asking for money but my son did not have the money to pay them. His friends advised him that the only way out was to sell some drugs .At the time, I did not know that my son was going through this situation and he had not disclosed it to me. I only came to know, when, on the third day of his drug selling, the police caught him. He was told by the police that there would be a court case and that he would probably have to serve a prison sentence for one or two years.

After eleven months of torturous time, we had been given the date of the court case. I remember the day when he had packed his brush, vest, etc in a bag. But I had been given peace in my heart and told my son not to worry and that he would not have to go in. He replied, "Mum, you do not know anything."

The day before, I had been to a prayer meeting. After I reached home, at about 10pm ,I switched on the television. When I did this, the screen went blank. Then suddenly, there came a golden border around the screen and in the centre, was a scripture. "Look you heathens and unbelievers, I am going to do a great thing in your life and you will not believe it."

The next day, at about noon, my son phoned me. I assumed that he called to tell me the case had been postponed. When I asked as to what had happened, he replied,

"Mum, you won't believe it!" (I had not told him about the scripture incident)

He said this is what the judge said " Your record is impeccable, I will not put you in prison but instead, you will have to do two years of community service."

I was so relieved and happy that God had done this great miracle. It was as though God had come to my front room to tell me what would happen. God is wonderful! I told my son "You better get on your knees and thank God for what He has done." My son and all his friends were unbelievers. I praise the Lord, God almighty! Nothing is impossible for Him.
